The Minor Arcana suit of Wands is related to work, to change and growth and renewal in our lives. It is related to the element of Fire and to the South, because it is a suit of action, initiative, and energy.
As in all four suits, the Ace represents new beginnings, gifts that are given to us in our lives that we might not expect, or think we deserve. The Ace of Wands is often about a new career, or a promotion, or a change that is positive in our work world.
